“Eating healthy is boring. I can’t spend my life eating broccoli for lunch and carrots for dinner.”
Let’s be honest for a second, how many times have you said that to yourself when deciding to start living a healthy lifestyle?
Don’t worry; I’m not judging. That happens to the best of us.
During all of my years as a keto adopter, I’ve got all kinds of answers when asking people about what’s stopping them from going keto, but boredom has been the most common response. After all, healthy dishes are pretty limited and repetitive, right?
Wrong, and The Essential Keto Cookbook is the most significant counterargument. I’ve probably tried every keto cookbook out there, but never have I seen one that’s as diversified as The Essential Keto Cookbook.
So, let’s cut to the chase, how good is this cookbook?
Before delving into the review, know that I haven’t tried all of 120 recipes in this cookbook yet, but the ones I did prepare were marvelous.
Now that we got that all of the way, what’s my take on what I’ve already tried?
Two words: I’m impressed.
First, the recipes are well-presented, with a clear picture on each page for you to either know the end result or feel ashamed after getting something that’s not even remotely close to what’s in the image. The instructions are also easy to follow, which made the whole experience more convenient.
What I genuinely liked about the recipes in The Essential Keto Cookbook is that they require only common ingredients that you can find in any supermarket. You can easily make mouth-watering dishes, such as Fiery Buffalo Wings and Mini Burgers, without having to fill your shopping list with useless items. Who doesn’t love short shopping lists anyway?
Out of the recipes I tried, Popcorn Shrimp did stand out, as I prepared that meal for a family dinner and got the thumbs up from my in-laws. How cool is that, right?
Another unique item that I enjoyed is The Keto Guide to Eating Out Like a Pro, which came as a bonus along with the main cookbook. Who knew one could enjoy eating outside even when following a healthy keto diet (my kids have been thanking me every day ever since I started taking them to restaurants again).
For easy planning and transition into the keto lifestyle, The Essential Keto Cookbook comes with a 2-week meal plan, which includes some of the recipes mentioned above. When starting out, one may get overwhelmed by the massive number of new recipes, which may eventually lead to quitting. That’s why the meal plan is a nice touch, though I wish it was a full-month meal plan rather than a 2-week one.
Although I would’ve been totally satisfied if I got The Essential Keto Cookbook on its own, I got five bonuses along with it:
The bonuses are valued at $115, but they were included free of charge when I got the cookbook. Click here to check whether they’re still free or not.
I loved almost everything about The Essential Keto Cookbook, but there were a couple of things that I would’ve liked changed. The perks include:
As for the things that I would’ve liked changed, they include:
Adopting the keto lifestyle is no small feat; that’s why you should get any help you can during your journey. When trying The Essential Keto Cookbook, I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the amount of information that it contains, as everything was well-organized and the recipes were easy to make. The free bonuses were just the cherry on top for me, and they can definitely help any beginner in the keto world.
In a nutshell, I recommend this cookbook no matter your level of expertise. Besides, the price is pretty affordable, as I got it during a discount for only $29. If you’d like to check whether the discount is still available or not, click on the button below and it’ll get you to the checkout page.
